Pastor Emery Moss, Jr.


Pastor Emery Moss, Jr. has served as a pastor for over 30 years.   He was ordained and licensed as a Baptist minister at the age of 19. 

Pastor Emery Moss and Sister Mary Moss were married on May 16, 1970 and have been married for over 38 years; and, are the proud parents of three children; they are the proud grand parents of two grandchildren.

Pastor Moss served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years.  While in the military he was assigned to the Social Actions Department and provided drug and alcohol counseling and taught Human Relations classes and became a certified Human relations director.

Pastor Moss worked as a Mental Health television for Holy Cross, Cottage Hospital and St. Joseph’s from 1979 to 1996.  In 1990, Pastor Moss became a facilitator for Chalk Talk, a company that taught human relations, race relations at the Judson Center, Holy Cross and several hospitals just to name a few.

Pastor Moss currently leads the congregation of Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching Ministries located in Detroit, Michigan.  He and Sister Moss have led numerous marriage and relationship seminars and continue to work side-by-side in their outreach ministry called Bible Boot Camp, Inc., which teaches in-depth seminars on cults and apologetics.

Pastor Moss, attended Wayne State University and majored in psychology and Sociology.  He graduated from William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills, Michigan in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in theology.  He also earned a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1998.  He is currently pursing his Doctorate in Theology.

Pastor Moss has two publications:  “The Twisted Teachings of the Word of Faith Movement; and, The Secret.  He is currently on WLQV Radio, 1500 AM, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm every Saturday
